  So Suz! You look polished even in shorts and sandals.

  I wasn't a fan at all of those sandals in the Find, but they're really great on you. They make a mostly-classic outfit feel updated and fresh.

  I prefer these white shorts! A little more flattering to my eye, Suz....me and lengths. FWIW, I'm pedantic about it....can't help it!

  Great look !  And I really like your hair this length - it looks terrific !  I have a pair of Jag pedal pushers that I'm about to cut off to bermuda length .  They are longer than yours here though. I just feel too "my mother " in them, although some better styling on my part would help I suppose.  

  And lastly - I am lusting after those sandals. They are SO cute.

  Hair is gorgeous!  How funny is that?  Just when you might be able to get it cut.  Fresh, cool outfit- even with the red cardi

  So, these are the same shorts as yesterday. I agree they are more flattering at this length - but it helps that the sandals are platform so give me enough height. I have short calves, so when I am not wearing heels, a longer short can make proportions go wildly out of whack. 

  It also helps that I am in a column of colour (or neutral) -- gives a longer, leaner, look. 

  Plus, camera angle -- always a factor! 

  Thanks for all the hair love. it is just shoved behind my ears for now. 3 more weeks until a cut.

  I love everything about this outfit. Can’t believe that Zara t-shirt is still going strong. How is the comfort of the sandals - they showed up on shopping site that I frequent as recommended for me :)

  Anchie, the sandals are comfy. Quite adjustable (velcro fastening on the top) and spongy platform. It's good for my plantar fasciitis. :)

  Love the silvery echoes in the outfit! Also is great to pair the long cardi with the shorts--lot of times, long over long is too much for me but this has more of the "pencil skirt" silhouette with the comfort and functionality of shorts.

  Oh, wow, that is so interesting to see the same shorts styled two different ways. This one definitely nails conventionally flattering proportions, rule of thirds and all that. I really like your hair with the extra length -- sassy side-bangs!

  This is the ideal shorts length in my opinion. The midi of shorts if you will. I love the first picture especially - you are a silver sprite!

  Everything about this is FAB! You have such a great collection of tees that are mixed media and dressy, that elevate other more casual items. I need to remember to look for something similar. I would not have liked those sandals that much if just seeing photos but they look wonderful the way you have styled them.

  Had to click through when I saw that top — gorgeous on you, esp with your hair!

  Love this column o’ non-color-color on you as well as the version with the cardigan.

  Funny thing as you know how we have lots of similar body proportions...I have an earlier version of those sandals. Soooo comfortable for miles and miles. Me being me, I metallicized part of them...they’d look great with your top. ;)
