Can't go out in this today -- not without switching out the light booties for snow boots. And adding some more layers. BRRRRRRR!!!
But here's my indoor outfit -- thanks for the inspiration, Angie!

Love! You seriously look great. The pop of blue is so fresh.
Suz, what a wonderful interpretation of today's ensemble. I love the light blue collar and cuffs. My own interpretation worked well, too, but it is too dark for photos here now.
Great outfit! I love the blue with the white jeans and patterned sweater. I'm really liking the patterned sweaters I've been seeing on the forum. I think I'll put one on my shopping list to keep an eye out for.
Great job in defying your environmental norm Suz!
Lovely, Suz!
Brilliant!
This looks great! I love the snake booties bookending the patterned sweater!
Very pretty!!
Oh, good job of blending! I like the mixing in of the mid-range tones to get more mileage out of the item but freshen with white and pastels.
I forgot to add - my version of today's ensemble is also for indoor wear only!
Wow! I really love this Suz. It looks so fresh and light. The light blue shirt is fab under that sweater.
RAWR! You look fierce and fab in a pastel/soft kind of way :) LOVE!
Very cute! I love the sweater.
Nice! You look as fresh and bright as new-fallen snow.
Suz- this is such a fresh look for you. This cold gets tedious, doesn't it?
Nice way to break it up. Like the booties with the sweater.
Thanks, all. The sweater is the DVF cotton-silk that Angie recommended during the NAS. Parsley is wearing the same one today in her Paris post!, I believe! :) And it was one of Angie's favourite NAS purchases. One of my favourites, too. I had never worn this blush and was worried it was a bit too warm for my skin tone, but it seems to work -- and the scale of the pattern feels absolutely right on me.
Neat cuff/color pop!
Oh very nice! Beautiful on you, and eventually you'll be able to wear it out come spring. :)
Beautiful interpretation of pastels!
Meow! Love the blue with the cat and python prints. Stay cozy and warm.
Oh -- I so understand "indoor outfits!" I think the use of animal print is a great way to keep the crispness in pastel outfits. Love this on you! I also am working on lighter layers, because I'm so tired of heavy knits! Thanks for the inspiration.
Lovely indoor look. I am only wearing my tall boots and skinnies outdoors right now, too much ice and salt on the roads to wear anything else.
Lovely Suz!
I can't imagine weather so cold you are stuck indoors.
Oh, Lyn - I COULD go out....I did go out yesterday for a short time to skate...lasted about 40 minutes outdoors all together, 20 minutes of skating and 20 of walking there and back. But today the windchill is extreme. It's -21 and gusts up to 70 km plus snow....not pleasant.
And the thing is, if I did go out now, I would have to dress a lot more warmly. Ironically, with some thermals underneath I could probably wear the white jeans today -- there is absolutely no slush to be seen! But it's snow boots all the way in weather like this --- blowing snow, ice.
Love it! Such a refreshing take on the colors combined with animal prints.
You look awesome. Love, love, love that sweater! I always love the look of a sweater over a button-down, but I can't do it myself...drives me so nuts, even if the underlayer is silk. Also really liking white in winter. Do you really walk around in booties all day when you're not leaving the house?
You look fantastic Suz - love the outfit.
Oh, Carter -- no - I really wear my slippers most of the day. But I put on these booties for an hour this afternoon because I miss wearing my booties so much! It's all snow boots, all the time, at least when I am outside, these days. And my lovely booties are getting no wear except if I "cheat" like this.
Last year I was able to wear booties for almost the entire winter! Yes, we had some snow, but it melted in between times and we'd have days of dry sidewalks or just damp. Not so, this year.
So happy to hear that, Suz! My work at home outfits always include either slippers or flip flops, depending on the season.
Four words:
You Killer Gorgeous Creature. xo
I really like your interpretation of the formula! The light colours suit you beautifully.
Fantastic! The animal print sweater looks marvelous with the chambray shirt. I also like how you've partially popped your collar. Stay warm!
Cute top! The animal pattern adds some warmth just with its colors.
I look at this and think the weather is just turning to fall :) Super interpretation of today's blog post. I love that sweater on you more every time I see it.
I love everything about this outfit!!
I love the sweater bookended with the booties, and light blue shirt underneath takes the outfit to the next level. You look fantabulous!
I just love the pop of light blue near your face! Great winter light look!
Classics and pastels nailed to a tee!
