More scenes from Boston

I'm in Toronto waiting for my train to Kingston, still smiling about our wonderful birthday party. Here's my first round of pictures.

1. Pil trying on a jacket at Loft. She didn't buy it...but I think maybe we ought to twist her arm. And don't her specs look fab?!!

2. Ah, the joys of an 11:30 pm fire alarm when you are busy giving a fashion show in your room and you don't have any pants on!

3. Waiting in the lobby for the all-clear.

4. The lovely Karie and pastry girl, smiling as if they aren't mad about losing beauty sleep.

5. First stop after breakfast: The Rack. Note the colour coordinated display. :)

6, 7. Getting ready to leave the Rack.

8. Trying on a jacket in Club Monaco Didn't buy it....yet.  But wait until you see what Angie bought. A few others also got some great stuff here.

9. At lunch with Janet.

10. Cutest couple in the world.

11. Angie and her new friend.

12. At Marimekko with Jeanne and Janet.

13. Taking a break at the Westin.

More to follow. My comment? Everything Janet said! Thank you, Angie and Greg, for building this community.

Ah-h-h.  Great fun photos. Clearly you were having a fabulous time.

Thanks so much to all of you for sharing with us.  I keep checking to see if any more have been posted.  Can't wait to see what everybody bought.

Awww, thanks for sharing! Glad you guys had so much fun, in spite of the fire squad crashing the fashion show :) I love that pic of Janet hugging Angie!

  • AJ replied 10 years ago

    Oh yay, more pics!

Fire alarm at 11:30 pm? Now that's one heck of a slumber party!

Trying to notice everyone's choice of shoes...looks like booties ruled.

So sweet the tender moment pic of Angie and Janet!

Thanks for sharing the photos! Wishing you a safe and speedy journey home!

  • Suz replied 10 years ago

AJ, we forgot to take the shoe and bag shot! Can you believe it? Booties predominated because it was cold. A few brave souls wore ballet flats. But we needed our warmth!

  • pastrygirl replied 10 years ago

Yay! What great pics!! Pil, that jacket was very nice. Are you still considering it?

  • Suz replied 10 years ago

Pil, I think you should Ask Angie when she returns -- show both options. I can't actually find the option with the grey top that you tried. I don't know why it didn't download -- or maybe I never took that photo? I am not sure. Anyway, when I get home I'll do a proper check.

I LOVE that jacket. Pil, definitely ask Angie, it looks beautiful on you.

What fun pictures, I had no idea that you took a picture of the fire alarm evacuation. Luckily, all pants were found!!

I just came to my hotel and really have to get to bed (it is 11PM now) but just have to comment here. This was a truly magical weekend - in more sense than one ( wink at Suz and her HEWI :-) ) it was so wonderful to get to know everybody, I am still in the recovery mode from all that fabness and friendship.
Thank you everybody for making it a memorable and warm gathering!
Thank you Isabel for being our extraordinaire host in Boston and for making this magic happen!
And of course thank you Angie and Greg for creating such an amazing and unique community, nothing would be possible without you!

Once more - happy birthday YLF and many happy returns!!!

  • Gracie replied 10 years ago

Than you for posting the photos. Sorry you had to go through a fire alarm scare but glad all was well. It looks like everybody had a great time. I'm looking forward to seeing your Special Purchase ;)

You bought the suit, didn't you Suz!?-))))

    Thanks so much for
sharing these brilliant photos and sharing your meet-up memories. Pil
the jacket is lovely on you, I vote get too (and your specs are
beautiful!). Suz, I think you should also go back for the blazer you are showing us here ;-)

And a fire alarm, can you believe it!! How dared they interrupt your fashion show!-)

I just start to smile every time I look at all the meet-up photos. So glad that everyone had a magical time.

  • viva replied 10 years ago

Pil -- that jacket!!! Love it!

What a fantastic day -- still glowing from all the fun. I wish I had stayed even longer although I'm not sure I would have made it home if I had. Love the pictures, Suz.

  • Janet replied 10 years ago

Great pictures, Suz! Thank you for posting. What an amazing weekend! I'm so happy I got to meet you. I feel like I'm still soaking in the lingering vibes of the weekend. :-)

Pil needs that jacket, I agree. So lovely on her.

Heh, that Marimekko pouf goes so well with my outfit. Wish I could have brought that home! It would be fun in our TV room! ;-)

  • Isabel replied 10 years ago

Suz, thank you sooo much for the photos.  I am still pinching myself.  :  )
I laughed out loud when I saw the Boston fire truck.  It was quite a weekend and what a whirlwind.  Just fantastic.

  • replied 10 years ago

Ack! A pants-less fire alarm? You all have ALL the fun. Must have been better than the old dormitory days at uni! Great pictures Suz, thank you for posting them. And I'm waiting with bated breath too, to hear about the suit!

  • Susie replied 10 years ago

    Oh more fun photos...thank you!

Suz bought a suuuit, Suz bought a suuuit <said in singsong voice>

  • rachylou replied 10 years ago

After the party hats, Angie with the big balloon is the next best pic :)
