My personal rule for this challenge: I have to be able to imagine wearing the outfit in real life, without feeling overly "costumed."
But I have to admit, I can't actually wear today's today, because we are nowhere near the 60s F in temperatures here yet....sigh....
Also, still on the road. Today is my mother's 90th birthday!

Yes, the Breton sweater is truly timeless. But Seburg gave it a new vogue in Breathless. This Breton sweater with jeans, and sneakers, or ballet flats, or a chelse type boot has been going strong for a long time, every couple of decades. 60s, 80s, and now. (And maybe more, too, for all I know).
The scarf is a bit of a nod to 60s pop art pattern mixing and colours. Dots with stripes and clear red. Also the shape is very 60s -- a square worn "kerchief" style. I could have put it on my head, too -- didn't think of that.

Oh totally smashing!! You've really got to wear this sometime when the weather cooperates. The scarf would work well on your head too like you say. The whole thing is so effortlessly chic in color, pattern, and proportion and I love how the sunglasses pick up the red in the scarf. Also I want those boots! (from Israel right?)
