GREAT customer service at Sandwich

A good news report! Remember my little Sandwich military knit jacket that lost its buttons?

I wrote to them and they sent -- all the way from the Netherlands!! --
a full package of replacement buttons, a sweet card, and as a bonus, a fab nylon shopping bag in fire engine red! How great is that?

All of this arrived yesterday. It ties right in with Angie's tip #8!

P.S. I read your thread title and thought to myself "Oh, I didn't know they have Sandwich in Canada too";-)

  • Suz replied 6 years ago

Thanks all! Inge, Sandwich is sold in some Canadian boutiques and they have a new stand alone store in Montreal, where I bought my jacket.

Excellent . Love it. I have a Sandwich customer service story to share too!

I bought an indigo/overdyed long  Sandwich  cardigan from a local boutique last summer.  Finally got around to wearing it about 4 months later (me and cardigans etc) and when I got home, noticed that the indigo dye was ALL over me, the tank top I wore underneath it, my car seat , and worse : a really expensive, beloved suede/leather purse I was wearing at the time .  Was I p*$%ed off.  Of course it was stupid of me to forget that it was an overdyed linen and I should not have worn white with it  nor carried a nice bag, but still!  I took it back to the store - which is always awkward when the store owner  is a customer of your own but...- who refunded me immediately and promised to address the stained purse issue.  Within a few weeks, Sandwich themselves sent me a lovely (well, their idea of a lovely bag which resembled mine, which was not replaceable ) t bag with a note of apology. I was duly impressed.

    I love to hear that.

Wow, Lisa that is such a shame about the dye transfer but it does help when they respond like that.
